Strain Name: Queen Kush
Type: Hybrid (80% Indica & 20% Sativa)
Looks: Heavily trichome (like water droplets under the macro) covered marijuana nuggets resembling braids. Nice florescent green marijuana nuggets that appear rigged to the eye, but are actually soft, springy and very light to the touch.
Smell: Initially a light earthy funk is noticeable followed by scents of fermented fruit, pine and hints of menthol.
Taste: Sweet… like creme soda. Leaves a flat, “hash” after taste.
Buzz Type: Heavy pressure with a slight bit of euphoria.
Buzz Length: Average to Above Average (1 to 1.5 hours)
When I first opened the medicine container, I was hit with a “sweet funk” scent that was strong, but luckily did not seem to linger. “Light” and “fluffy,” I did have to load a bowl up pretty full, but due to the “springy” nature of this strain, a full bowl can overflow and “spring” out.
Pain relief was excellent. After a couple of bowls, I was very relaxed with a good scene of focus and awareness. I got a slight bit of body tingle after the initial hit with a massage like sense of pressure behind the eyes. Noticeable cerebral pressure was felt.
Dry mouth was the only downside, but a nice glass ice water hindered that. A little light as compared to some other Kush strains I have, but the strong point of this strain is its CBD content which is apparently higher than average and pain relief was noticeable.
Test Results: I was provided with test results of this batch of Queen Kush. This batch of Queen Kush was tested by Cannabis Analysis Testing Technologies in Temecula, Ca.
