Strain Name: Cherry Slider
Looks: Delicate and loose light green marijuana nuggets, fluffy like cotton balls.
Smell: Pine, fuel, and cherry tree bark.
Taste: Earthy and cherry. Cherry flavor is enhanced through the exhale.
Buzz Type: Relaxing with enhanced awareness.
Buzz Length: Average to Above Average (1 to 1.5 hours)
Summary: In terms of appearance, Cherry Slider is a very delicate strain. Marijuana nuggets were a bit brittle and falls apart at the slightest touch. On looks alone, I was reminded of Matanuska Mist. It felt like pulling string when breaking a marijuana nugget apart.
As strain name implies, Cherry Slider was big on flavor. A tart cherry flavor is very present. This flavor is very noticeable on the exhale through the nostrils. Initial inhale and after taste was very consistent and balanced.
When feeling sluggish, a bowl of Cherry Slider did “perk” me up like a cup of regular coffee, but not so over top as I was more relaxed vs. bouncing off the walls. The buzz was balanced where I was able to get focused on a particular task at hand and get going at it without being all over the place. This initial portion of the buzz only lasts up to about 20 minutes at most. After the initial buzz, I experienced slight head pressure and a massage sensation behind the eyes (they felt low and VERY itchy). This more dominant part of the buzz did take me to the point of nodding off with a few instances of couch lock. Due to this I enjoyed medicating with Cherry Slider more at night vs. the day. I was a bit to lazy to be productive after the initial jolt dissipates and heavier buzz takes over.
Cherry Slider’s big plus was on pain relief! Feeling stomach pains one day, this strain put my stomach at ease. Pain is attacked immediately; especially post-workout muscle pain or DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness).
Overall, Cherry Slider is a nice flavorful strain, but for me the strain was a bit to much of a negative for my eyes just making them unbearably itchy and red.
